Back to Work & Anna's visit!

Hey Blogger Friends & Followers! I started work this week & have had plans in the evening... so, I'm just getting to check my email, Facebook, & write a blog.  It has been an adjustment in the Barlow household, as I've started working.  Many tears were shed on Sunday as I anticipated leaving Peyton & cutting the time I saw Jonathan (no more lunch dates).  Thankfully, on Monday I rose to the occasion & settled in at work.  I am so blessed to be working with a fabulous teacher at an amazing school.  This has made the transition much easier.
But, before the work week started, Anna came to visit Royston! We had the best weekend playing with Peyton, running early in the mornings, making things for Peyton's 1st birthday party, shopping in Athens...all wonderful sisterly moments. It was a wonderful way to spend my last summer weekend.

Thank you Anna for visiting us! We will miss you for Peyton's birthday party!

Snapshots of the Summer!

Peyton training for the Bluegrass 10K!
As August approached, I realized summer was winding down.  I have loved every minute of this summer.  We have traveled to Destin, Fl; Lake Hartwell, Ga; Tampa, Fl; Georgetown, KY; & Rome, Ga.  We have had the Barlows, Fraleys, & Boatmans all visit Royston.  Our family has enjoyed lazy, Saturday mornings eating pancakes in front of the Today show, playing in the pool, shopping at the outlets, & relaxing in our hammock.  I begin work next week.  YES - I did get a job! I will be working with kindergarteners at Carnesville Elementary.  I am thrilled for this opportunity. This week will be bittersweet, soaking up every minute with Peyton & Jonathan.  Here are a few recent snapshots -

Thank you for the prayers & help with my job search.  I hope you & your family are able to enjoy your summer moments!
